Capturing wedding day detail photos typically takes about 30 minutes. I usually photograph details first thing in the morning while you’re getting ready—it’s a calm, creative way to begin the day and helps set the tone for your entire wedding gallery.

Bride and groom rings (plus a ring box, if you have one)

Don’t worry if everything isn’t perfectly styled for a flat lay. I often photograph details in their natural environment throughout the day—rings resting on a vow book, perfume on a vanity, shoes placed near your dress. These organic moments help tell your story in an authentic, meaningful way.
